Knox Unflavored Gelatine should be softened in cold water before dissolving. Basic Recipe: 1. To make 4 quarts jelled fruit or vegetable juices or jelled consomme: 2. Soften 2-1/2 oz (1/2 cup) Knox Unflavored Gelatine in 1 pint cold water. 3. Add 3-3/4 quarts very hot juice or flavored stock; stir until gelatine dissolves. Pour into molds or pans; chill until set. When using fresh or frozen pineapple, boil first for 2 minutes.
